Miranda Ford

Instructor, Choreographer

Miranda has been dancing for 25 years and has been a teacher for 10 of those years. Miranda has taught competitive dance for 3 years. She has an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies from Anne Arundel Community College; and received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Sociology from Bowie State University.

She is currently working full-time at Arundel Mental Health Professionals (Spectrum Behavioral Health) in Arnold.  Miranda began her dance training at the age of 3.  She has participated in numerous master classes sponsored by Dance Educators of America, the Maryland Dance Council, Starpower and Horton's Dance Conference.  As a dance student Miranda has competed in dance competitions for six years. She has competed in different styles of dance such as jazz, tap and lyrical. Miranda's favorite style of dance is tap.

The studios that she danced with were Kathleen's Dance Studio and American Dance and Fitness. She has won many metals, ribbons, and trophies while competing. The award that Miranda is most proud of was her tap solo that she competed at Starpower Nationals in Ocean City and earned the award for Miss Personality (who would've thought) at the age of 14. We are excited to have her join our CFDC family!
