Loren Hayes

Instructor

Loren Hayes is a classically trained dance instructor and choreographer with a dynamic background spanning ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, character, ballroom, modern, contemporary, Irish step, and musical theater. With over two decades of experience both on stage and behind the scenes, Loren brings a powerful blend of performance excellence, technical expertise, and artistic passion to every class she teaches.

A founding member of the Potomac Classical Youth Ballet Company in Hagerstown, MD, Loren began dancing at the age of five and was performing principal roles in The Nutcracker throughout her youth. She studied under renowned instructors Lauren Closer of The City Ballet School and Susan Banks of The American Ballet Academy, and was awarded a prestigious scholarship to the Alvin Ailey Modern Dance Camp at the age of 12. Her professional credits include dancing with companies such as the Kirov Ukrainian Ballet and Houston Ballet, where she had the privilege of working alongside the legendary Lauren Anderson.

In addition to her dance career, Loren was a competitive cheerleader, co-captain of her squad, and holds over 300 first-place trophies. She was also a multi-sport athlete in varsity basketball and lacrosse and participated in all-state and all-county choirs. At just 15, Loren began her apprenticeship in teaching and choreography, becoming a principal choreographer and audition judge by age 19.

Loren pursued her academic interests in Santa Barbara, CA, earning an associate's degree in film directing, screenwriting, and editorial from Brooks Institute of Photography. A proud Army brat and the eldest of six siblings, she is also the mother of two wonderful boys, ages 17 and 10.

Loren is thrilled and honored to share her love for dance with the talented students of Creative Force Dance Center and is grateful to be part of such a passionate and inspiring community. She looks forward to continuing her journey as an educator, mentor, and artist.
