What can I expect from the Discovery Day Program?

Do I have to pay the full amount at the time of registration?

A non-refundable registration fee of $125/student is due upon registration. This fee will include a tote bag that students will bring to/from each day with a snack and personal items. Students will also receive a Personal Prop Kit and storage bag that will be kept at the studio for them to use each day. This kit will include props and musical instruments that we will use throughout the year, they will be able to take this home at the end of the year.

Are we committed for the year?

We require a 30-day written notice to withdraw from the program so that we may fill the spot with someone from the waitlist. Withdraws must be at the beginning of the month.

How do I register?

You can register online or in person. A non-refundable $125/student registration fee is due upon registration to hold your spot.

Does my child need to be potty trained?

No, they do need to keep a change of clothing in their bag they bring to the program each day.

Question 8

Do you follow the AACPS calendar?

The Discovery Day Program will follow the CFDC studio calendar for holiday closings. We will follow AACPS for all inclement weather-related closings and delays. If schools are closed, we are closed. If schools are delayed there will be no morning program (9am-12:00pm).
